The July 28, 2016 Naples Gulf Shore Sunset Rotary meeting was called to order at 6:00pm followed by Pledge of Allegiance and Invocation. Our speaker was Carol Howell, Executive Director of Senior Life Journeys and a Certified Dementia Specialist and Endorsed Life Coach gave us an enlightening talk about Dementia and the possible 200 causes of it with one of the major ones of course being Alzheimer’s Disease. At this point it appears the best treatment avenues are prevention and adapting rather that any curing.
