December 17, 2009 Naples Sunset Rotary Club Christmas Party



The December 17, 2009 Naples Sunset Rotary Christmas Party was truly well received and we appreciated very much the participation of Naples Bay Rotary Club members! Cocktails, Dinner, Singing and Dancing were excellent. The presents that were brought for needy boys and girls will be given to the appropriate local shelters. Fun was had by all and truly was a Christmas Party for 2009!! Thanks to all who participated, organized and directed and especially to our great country music group of four .....

The Naples Sunset Rotary Club wishes everyone a very Merry Christmas and a Happy and Prosperous New Year 2010 !! Naples Sunset Rotary Club will not be meeting on Thursday December 24, 2009 and THursdcay December 31, 2009. Our next meeting will be Thursday January 7, 2010.

December 10, 2009 Naples Sunset Rotary Club Meeting







The Naples Sunset Rotary Club December 10, 2009 meeting inducted two new members. Doug DiGiorno sponsored by Herb Buck and Gary Wehr sponsored by George Leamon. The club president delivered the induction ceremony and placques and the sponsoring Rotarians gave the lapel pins. We welcome Doug and Gary into Naples Sunset Rotary Club.

Atom McCree was our speaker who has a depth of experience in online marketing and marketing strategy. He discussed the numerous happenings in the world of social communities on the Internet including Facebook and Twitter. He explained the reasons to be involved and stated that all businesses today need to be proactive when it comes to the new generation Internet and Social Entrepreneurism. Excellent presentation with a number of questions at the end of his speech.

December 3, 2009 Naples Sunset Rotary Meeting


The December 3rd, 2009 Naples Sunset Rotary meeting speaker was Jean Mekeel, Executive Director of the Step By Step Early Childhood Education & Therapy Center, 5860 Golden Gate Parkway, Naples, Florida. The Center is a private, not for profit organization, assisting children, and their families, in Collier County for over 25 years. Step by Step is an early care and education program that provides all young children, regardless of their diverse abilities, a safe, nurturing environment that supports their social, emotional, cognitive, language, and physical developmemnt. Step by Step values the diversity of families and their children. Step by Step belives in, and supports full and successful access for all childrfen to education and other specialized supports such as Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, Speech & Language Therapy, Recreation Therapy, and other specialty programs such as Art and Music.
