August 30, 2012 Naples Sunset Rotary Meeting
The August 30, 2012 Naples Sunset Rotary Meeting was called to order by President Brady Young at 6:30pm followed by the Invocation and Pledge of Allegiance. Prior to dinner President Brady performed the induction ceremony upon our latest new member Doug Haughey a local Realtor with Royal Shell. Doug was warmly welcomed into our club and received a new member membership packet as well as the Rotary pin from President Brady. Following dinner President Brady gave us updates of both the local as well as district and international happenings of Rotary. The club adjourned at 8pm.

August 23, 2012 Naples Sunset Rotary Meeting
August 23, 2012 Naples Sunset Rotary Meeting was called to order by President Brady Young at 6:30pm with Invocation and Pledge of Allegiance. After dinner, guests were introduced and President Brady described new areas of development for club members including timing issues for the start time of meetings. Additonal local and district happenings were discussed by President Brady. During the months of August and September the club does not have speakers with a full program of speakers beginning the last week of September and continuing on. Meeting was adjourned at 8pm.

August 16, 2012 Naples Sunset Rotary Meeting
August 16, 2012 Naples Sunset Rotary Meeting was called to order at 6:30pm by President Brady Young. Following the Invocation by Past President George Leamon the club gave the Pledge of Allegiance. After dinner President Brady led the Club Assembly discussing plans for upcoming fund raisers as well as short and long term goals and objectives of the club. After a very lively discussion the club adjourned at 8:00pm.

August 9, 2012 Naples Sunset Rotary Meeting
August 9, 2012 Naples Sunset Rotary Meeting was called to order at 6:30pm by President Brady Young. Following Invocation and the Pledge of Allegiance the dinner was served followed by Rotary updates by President Brady discussing upcoming events both locally and throughout the District. Guests were introduced by Secretary Gary Moore followed by a very interesting discussion led by Judge Gene Turner on the current happenings with regards to DUI in Collier County. The current information, statistics and happenings presented a very up to date picture for all to understand. The meeting was adjourned at 8:20 PM.

August 2, 2012 Naples Sunset Rotary Me
August 2, 2012 Naples Sunset Rotary Meeting was called to order by President Brady Young and the Innvocation and Pledge of Allegiance followed. President Brady discussed opportunities to network with Egyptian Rotarians and updated all members on the latest local and district happenings. Our speaker was Bob Ayers an above the knee amputee, founder of Miracle Limbs a registered 501(c) (3) organization. This organization provides support to amputees so that they may more easily navigate the physical, psychological and financial hurdles that accompany the experience of losing a limb. Miracle Limbs answers a severe need not fully addressed in the non-profit community. Their mission is to actively seek pre and post surgery patients, providing them full and tailored support in the areas of professional and peer counseling, financial assistance when needed, local support group development, and referrals to credible and well-respected specialists and organizations to support their emotional and physical needs. July 26, 2012 Naples Sunset Rotary Meeting
July 26, 2012 Naples Sunset Rotary Meeting was called to order by Immediate Past President Carl Thome who gave the Invocation and led the Pledge of Allegiance. Following dinner guests were introduced and a quick Sgt-of-Arms presentation was given by Past Assistant Governor Marcus Zillman. The speaker, State Rep. Matt Hudson, was introduced by President Elect Adoni Kokkinos. Rep. Hudson discussed the current healthcare funding situation for Florida and its relationship to ObamaCare legislation. Rep. Hudson chairs Healthcare Funding for the State of Florida and creates the required budgets. Numerous questions were asked from club members and all enjoyed his fine presentation and current happenings updates. The club adjourned at 8:30pm.

July 19, 2012 Naples Sunset Rotary Meeting
July 19, 2012 Naples Sunset Rotary Meeting was called to order by President Brady Young followed by Innvocation and the Pledge of Allegiance. Following dinner President Brady updated members with the current and future activities of both local and district Rotary activities. A visiting Rotarian and Past President of Naples Gulf Shore Rotary Stacy Hersha gave the club a request to help MS which the Board approved after the main meeting. The club adjourned at 8PM.

July 12, 2012 Naples Sunset Rotary Meeting
The July 12, 2012 Naples Sunset Rotary meeting was called to order by President Brady Young with Pledge of Allegiance and Invocation following. President Brady introduced guests and gave the latest Rotary updates both local, district and International. Following dimnner, President Young introduced Stephen F. Schlueter, District 6960 Governor 2012-2013, Pam Schlueter, Governor Aide, and Robert D. Stoneburner, Assistant Governor 2012-2013. Governor Schlueter discussed his goals for 2012-2013 for the District as well as District and International Projects. He also discussed the District Conference, May 16 - 19, 2013 to be held at the Sarasota Hyatt, Sarasota, Florida. President Young thanked the Governor and staff for attending and the club was adjourned at 8:30 PM.

June 28, 2012 Naples Sunset Rotary Meeting
The June 28, 2012 Naples Sunset Rotary meeting was called to order by President Carl Thome who gave the Invocation and Pledge of Allegiance. Following dinner our Rotary Ambassordial Scholar Johnnie Schuebert discussed his PhD process in New Zealand and his always favorite topic of communication electronics for the third world countries. He displayed a solar powered tablet that could revolutionize the ability to teach and train in Africa. Great stuff!! Following his presentation the 2012-2013 Naples Sunset Rotary Officers and Board of Directors were installed by the Immediate Past President Carl Thome. The slate of incoming officers and board members were as follows:

After the Induction Ceremony the gavel was handed over to Brady Young who praised the new Past President Carl Thome for an excellent two year performance for the Naples Sunset Rotary Club. President Brady also announced that our District Governor for 2012-2013 Stephen F. Schlueter will be visiting our club on the July 11, 2012 meeting. He also reminded members that we would not be meeting on July 5, 2012 due to the July 4th holiday period.

June 21, 2012 Naples Sunset Rotary Meeting
The June 21, 2012 Naples Sunset rotary meeting was called to order by President Carl Thome who gave the Invocation followed by the Pledge of Allegiance. After dinner Carl updated the club by announcing that the following week we will be inducting our new officers and board of directors for 2012-2013 Rotary year which starts July 1, 2012. He also announced that our District Governor for 2012-2013 Stephen F. Schlueter will be visiting our club on the July 11, 2012 meeting. President Carl turned the meeting over to President Nominee Adoni Kokkinos who introduced Gregory Wilkerson, Charge Nurse, Naples Community Hospital North, Cardiac Unit and our speaker who covered the area healthcare and the heart. Excellent presentation and was followed by a lengthy question and answer period. Meeting was adjourned at 8:15 PM.

May 17, 2012 Naples Sunset Rotary Meeting
The May 17, 2012 Naples Sunset Rotary Meeting was called to order by Immediate PastPast President (IPP) and Assistant Governor Marcus P. Zillman. George Leamon gave the invocation followed by the Pledge of Allegiance. After dinner our own club member Adonni Kinkkois presented and excellent presentation of Army Insigna and its true meanings. Actual Insigna were displayed and passed around to club members. After his fine presentation there were numerousd questions and answers. The meeting was adjourned by IPP Marcus at 8:15pm.

May 10, 2012 Naples Sunset Rotary Meeting
The May 10, 2012 Naples Sunset Rotary meeting was called to order by President Carl Thome at 6:45PM at Bistro 821. Following the Invocation and Pledge of Allegiance President Carl discussed upcoming events including our May 23rd (Wednesday) fund raiser at SeaSalt on Third. President Carl inducted our newest member Bill Towers, Principal of Precast Keystone in Naples, Florida. We was cordially welcomed by all attending members. Adonni Kinkkos introduced our speaker Matt Chester, Special Agent Bomb Technician with the Federal Bureau of Investigation (F.B.I) with offices in Naples. Matt discussed his 22 years of service with the F.B.I. as well as discussed the latest happenings and current priorities of the Bureau. After the very interesting and informative presentation questions and answers were taken from club members. The club adjourned at 8:20 PM.
