The May 23, 2013 Naples Sunset Rotary Meeting was held at Noodles as one of our Wine Tasting Fund Raising Events with an excellent turnout offering numerous silent auction items as well as delicious treats and wine. All had a great time and our charities will benefit. Thanks to all that worked and participated as well as our many guests!!

May 16, 2013 Naples Sunset Rotary Meeting

The May 16, 2013 Naples Sunset Rotary Meeting was called to order by President Brady Young followed by Invocation ans the Pledge of Allegiance. Following dinner a club assembly was held to discuss the upcoming May 23rd fund raiser at Noodles. All items were discussed including silent auction items and related subjects. The meeting was adjourned at 8:00pm.

May 9, 2013 Naples Sunset Rotary Club Meeting

The May 9, 2013 Naples Sunset Rotary Club meeting participated with the Fifth Avenue Wine Walk happening with members participating with other groups on Fifth Avenue in downtown Naples, Florida. The night was enjoyable by all participants and meeting numerous folks in the twenty establishments that participated.

May 2, 2013 Naples Sunset Rotary Meeting

May 2, 2013 Naples Sunset Rotary Club was called to order by President Brady Young followed by invocation and the pledge of allegiance. Our speaker Joseph A. Talarico, M.D. was introduced by Adoni Kokkinos who spoke on his active and state of the art medical practice covering surgery and robotic surgery. Many questions were asked and all appreciated this excellent professional! Meeting was adjourned at 8:01 PM.

April 25, 2013 Naples Sunset Rotary Meeting

The April 13, 2013 Naples Sunset Rotary Meeting was called to order by President Brady Young at 6:30pm followed by Invocation and Pledge of Allegiance. Our speaker for the evening meeting was Erik Hoglund of the ERG Economic Recovery Group. ERG is a statewode law firm representing businesses and professionals along Florida's west coast who suffered direct or indirect economic losses after the April 20, 2010 BP oil spill. He explained the qualifications and claim categories including business economic loss, individual economic loss, start up business economic loss and failed business economic loss. April 18, 2013 Naples Sunset Rotary Meeting

The April 18, 2013 Naples Sunset Rotary meeting was called to order at 6:30pm by President Brady Young followed by Invocation and the Pledge of Allegiance. Our speaker for the evening weekly dinner was our own member Adoni Kokkinos who discussed the ever changing happenings in the community and business security fields and gave us current updates where possible. Interesting discussion followed with a number of questions from fellow members. Secretary Moore introduced guests and visiting Rotarians. Our upcoming wine tasting fund raiser was discussed and members urged to obtain items for the silent auction. The meeting was adjourned at 7:55PM.

April 11, 2013 Naples Sunset Rotary Meeting

The April 11, 2013 Naples Sunset Rotary meeting was called to order followed by Invocation and Pledge of Allegiance. Following dinner a Club Assembly proceeded with discussion concerning upcoming fund raisers as well as the structure of meeting protocols. Excellent discussion created a significant pathway to reinforce not only the club's infrastructure but its mission as well. Meeting was adjourned at 8:00pm.

April 4, 2013 Naples Sunset Rotary Club Meeting

The April 4, 2013 Naples Sunset Rotary Club Meeting was called to order by President Elect Adoni Kokkinos followed by Invocation by Past President Zillman followed by the Pledge of Allegiance. Our speaker was a classification talk by member Steven Cere who explained his classification of Financial Advisor. He explained to the club in great detail the latest happenings in the financial sector of the economy as well as giving a brief snapshot of what holds in the future! Question were given by club members and all appreciate the excellent presentation of his classification to the club. After dinner and discussion by Gary Moore, Secretary/Treasurer it was decided to call a board meeting on Tuesday the 9th of April at George Leamon's office conference room. An email will be sent out to all members inviting both board and non board members to attend this meeting to discuss our upcoming May fund raiser. The meeting was adjourned at 8:10pm.

March 28, 2013 Naples Sunset Rotary Meeting and Annual Raffle

The March 28, 2013 Naples Sunset Rotary Annual Raffle and Meeting was called to order by President Brady Young followed by Invocation and Pledge of Allegiance. Our program was Kelly Thorpe, Director of Cedar Montessori School here in Naples. Kelly described and explained the purpose of Montessori education and how it cultivates the desire to learn. She gave detailed examples and positive success results. Her presentation was followed by a question and answer period. Thomas Matthews sponsored by Past President and Assistant Governor Marcus P. Zillman and Tom Wehr sponsored by Past President George Leamon. All the members welcomed the two newest members to Rotary!! After dinner our annual fund raiser and raffle was given with exciting moments as the winners were drawn. March 21, 2013 Naples Sunset Rotary Meeting

The March 21, 2013 Naples Sunset Rotary meeting was called to order by President Brady Young followed by Invocation by Past President Marcus Zillman followed by the Pledge of Allegiance. Our program was an excellent presentation by our own member Adoni Kokkinos discussing the current status of drones through the world including drone legislation in the United States. His video showed us some remarkable areas that Drones are in and going into. Where or where has our privacy gone?? Members were reminded that our next week's meeting will be our annual Raffle and to bring your sold tickets to the meeting. Meeting was adjourned at 8:01pm.

March 14, 2013 Naples Sunset Rotary Club

The March 14, 2013 Naples Sunset Rotary Meeting was called to order by President Brady Young at 6:40pm with the Invocation given by Past President Marcus P. Zillman followed by the Pledge of Allegiance. Adoni Kokkinos introduced our speaker for the meeting Marsha Litsinger, Executive Assistant of NAMI Collier County. Marsha discussed the many educational and support program offered freely by the National Alliance on Mental Health (NAMI) of Collier County. Programs for families and individuals affected by mental illness include a) Family to Family; b) Guide; c) Support Groups including NAMI connection, Parent/Child, and Family Support; d) Crisis Intervention Team (CIT) Training; e) Sarah Ann Drop-In Center; f) Self-Directed Care; f) Advocacy; and g) Consumer Care. The mission of NAMI Collier is: Improving the quality of persons affected by serious and persistent mental illness, and their families, through support, education and advocacy.
